How Do I set up a conference call? You
do not need to schedule a conference call. Our service is available
24 hours a day, 7 days a week YOu do not need to notify us when you
use the system. Simply open an account on line by using the New
Accounts link above.
In a few minutes you will receive an automated email
with a permanent dial-in number, conference code, and instructions.
To use the system just share this information with
your participants. (A lot of students just forward the email to
their committee with the time and date of the conference).
When you dial in and enter your Conference Code
(Security Code) your conference will begin. A reservation is never
needed.
Do I have to make a reservation for
my conference call? No. There is no need to make a
reservation for conference calls. Your service is available 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week. You do not need to let us know when you are
planning to have a conference call.
Can I call the conference from any
telephone?Yes You can call in from any phone, of any kind, from
anywhere.Callers from the USA and Canada use the (877) number all
others use the (712) number.
How many people can I have on my
conference call? 50
Do I need to call in first, before my
committee? No, you can call at any time. The first person
hears a message "you are the first person to enter the conference"
as the others come in a small tone is heard so the newcomer can be
welcomed. We recommend making a test call prior to your conference.
It will familiarize with the system and assure that the system is
working. You will not be charged for test calls lasting less than
one minute.
I need to make a call this month and
then not again for 60 days. Do I need to set up another account for
that call? No. Your Summit conference account will remain
active until you notify us. You can cancel your service by e-mailing
us at: Support@summitconference.com
I need only one or two calls then
will not need the service again. Can I still sign up? Yes you
can, you will pay only for the time you use.
What does it cost? We charge
a simple per minute rate of 9 cents per person, per minute. For
example, this is $21.60 for a one hour conference with 4 callers.
You pay only for time used. There are never any monthly fees, setup
fees, cancellation fee, contracts or hidden costs. International
callers using the (712) number will be charged long distance by
their local phone company.
Is there a setup &/or a
cancellation fee? No. There is never a fee to sign up or
cancel your account with Summit Conference Service.
How do I pay for my conference
calls? Can I get Summit Conference Service to bill me instead of
charging my credit card? We accept Visa, MasterCard American
Express and Discover credit cards. unfortunately, we are unable to
bill or accept checks.
How do you calculate my bill?
After the end of each month, if you have made conference
calls in the previous month, we calculate the total minutes used
multiplied by 9 cents. State sales tax may be added.
I have international participants
in my conference call. How do they get into the
call? International callers can dial into your conference
call by using the Toll Dial-in Number (area code 712) instead of the
toll-free Dial-In Number (area code 877). Everyone will go into the
same conference. International participants will pay their own long
distance charges.
Do you offer a Premium
Service? Summit Conference is a full service teleconferencing
firm. If you need operator-assisted calls, Webcasting, Web
conferencing, transcription services etc. then Summit is right for

What is your Customer Network
Guarantee? Everyday our network handles more than 10,000
calls. We use the industry’s "Gold Standard" conferencing equipment
to insure a reliable, easy to use, conference call every time. If
your conference call is not completely successful we will cheerfully
refund the cost of the conference.
